Meet Joyce Ericson MSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, CPC
Joyce was born in Nigeria and immigrated to New Jersey with her family at the young age of 2. She has dedicated her career to working primarily with at-risk youth in order to break cycles of poverty, abuse, and miseducation in the African-American community. Joyce has 15 plus years in the mental health field working with diverse populations in various settings such as health care, schools, community, home, outpatient, and inpatient treatment facilities.
She also has 9 plus years of clinical experience which
includes clinical supervision. Joyce has been living in the DMV area since 2018. Before relocating from New Jersey, she was the Founder and Executive Director of a behavioral health agency in which she provided program management, clinical supervision, business administration, and clinical services. Joyce has also worked as a Clinician for DC Government's School Based Behavioral Health Program and as a Psychiatric Liaison Counselor for University of Maryland Capital Region Health.
